Happy Smiles for Children in Winchester

As part of the NHS dental services programme to improve oral health Iosis Dental Clinic have put together an oral health promotion campaign for local schools, called Happy Smiles.

The aim of the campaign is to work with local schools in Winchester to promote better understanding of oral health and encourage children and parents to access NHS dental services.

There is now significant evidence published by the Department of Health, "Delivering better oral health" that shows that oral health education and in most cases the application of fluoride varnish (concentrated fluoride) to children’s teeth up to the age of 18 can significantly reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Iosis Dental Clinic is one of the largest providers of NHS dentistry in Winchester and provides the full range of NHS dental services to children up to the age of 18 FREE OF CHARGE and that includes the application of Fluoride varnish.
