On the day appointments
We offer a number of "on the day" appointments for both routine and urgent treatment. The appointments are offered on a first come first served basis and so we encourage you to call us as early as possible in the morning to secure these appointments. These appointments are available both during the week and at weekends. These appointments are open to patients that are registered with us, as well as patients who are new to the practice. On the day appointments can not be booked via our online booking system, they can only be booked on the phone.
Emergency appointments
We set aside a number of urgent treatment times each day. If you have a dental emergency, then please call us as soon as possible and we will do our best to see you on the same day. You can also call the Hampshire NHS Dental Helpline 0845 050 8345 to book emergency appointments with us.
If it is out of hours and our practice is closed, please call the Hampshire NHS Dental Helpline on 0845 050 8345 (www.hampshiredentalhelpline.nhs.uk). Alternatively, you could contact NHS Direct on 0845 4647 if you are not in the locality (www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk).
Disabled access
We are able to provide access for people with disabilities. If you have any special requirements, please call in advance to ensure we are able to meet them.
How to find us
We are on the ground floor of Anglo St James House, about five minutes walk from the city centre and opposite St Thomas Church. There is extensive public car parking, and a bus stop for routes 1, 69, B1 and E1. The mainline railway station is ten minutes walk away.
Because the building is in a conservation area we are not allowed to put up large signs, however we will have plenty of signs in our practice windows.
